A Wyoming Wedding & Event Florist for the Whirly & Wild

Hi, I’m Myca. A curly haired mom of two budding adventurers who spends just as much time stalking wildflowers as I do recreating family recipes in the kitchen. Like most artists turned entrepreneurs, I wear many hats. Yet, whether raising our young children in the Bighorn Mountains, foraging textured pieces for your unique ceremony arrangements or somewhere whirly in-between, I am always at my best when I am dancing with nature.

Tracing my roots, you’ll find that art and the allure of the wild are deeply woven into my heritage. As a daughter of a painter, my earliest memories involve: vibrant colors, playing greenhouse with my sister, barefoot afternoons in the garden with snapdragons, and selling homemade cookies to the neighbors to raise enough cash for a family pet (good one, Mom!).

In my 20s I left home to pursue a degree in horticulture. This eventually led me to a floral shop on a fourth-generation farm outside of Boston. My sister asked me to design her wedding floral a few years later. The rest bloomed from there!

Fast forward to endless foraging pit stops along the backroads, a business venture, and a loving husband who convinced me to move back west to a home with him in Northern Wyoming (easiest “Yes!”), and here I am: celebrating fourteen years as Whirly Girl Flowers.

You see, over time, I’ve mastered the art of slowing down just enough to notice the genuine beauty that surrounds us every day. It exists: in the whisper of a breeze through the late fall aspens, along the fence line where the grasses sway, within the buffalo clouds that hang over the textured western landscapes, safely in the arms of someone who loves you deeply and in the wonder of a child’s eyes who witnesses a field of sunflowers for the first time.

Know that it’s with this same perspective and passion that I approach floral artistry. I promise that when you come to me vulnerably with your wildest dreams, I will meet you just as you are to not only weave your personal story into my floral designs but to romanticize the details of your day into an unforgettable feeling that you and your loved ones will cherish for a lifetime.

Take my hand (I won’t let go!), and let’s bring the magic inside!

The Floral Recipe

Here at Whirly Girl, we compose florals differently. My design style is less about trends or a theme and more about kneading nature at work into authentic human connection. The truth is my art form is meant to evoke emotion and draw people closer without stealing the stage from your surroundings. I am known to incorporate: rich texture, unexpected color, untamed findings, and personal touches from your story (like a native bloom from your home state or a pheasant feather from your mountain ceremony location). My custom and artful approach to creating ensure that no design is the same. Because we believe that’s how it should be; professional, personal, and wildly you.

I believe cake for breakfast is always a good idea. 4. I highly recommend picking red lipstick to wear every day. It’ll make you braver, I promise.
